E-TOWER: MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AND EASY MAINTENANCE
The unique tower concept ensures maximum safety and user-friendliness, as the machine can be easily lowered for maintenance and remains accessible from all sides. This also enables faster and safer assembly/disassembly and simplifies the transportation of the machine. Another unique feature on the market: The snow gun remains 100% functional even when lowered and can be operated in any position for snowmaking or testing purposes. When retracted, the tower becomes extremely compact, nearly disappearing into the pit and becoming invisible from the surface.
HIGHLIGHTS E-TOWER
+ The 2-meter tower can be easily retracted into the pit using a cordless drill, with no heavy equipment needed for lifting or lowering
+ The snow gun can be quickly disconnected and stored (using a snow groomer, helicopter, crane)
+ During maintenance, the snow gun remains fully accessible from all sides
+ Even when lowered, it remains fully operational, ensuring uninterrupted snow production, maintenance and fan tests
+ When retracted, the tower nearly disappears from the surface
+ Thanks to the vertical (not horizontal) lowering mechanism, it can be installed on any terrain, including steep slopes
DEMACLENKO CONNECT: STABLE AND FAST DATA TRANSMISSION VIA MOBILE NETWORK
With the software Snowvisual, DEMACLENKO has had a comprehensive and intelligent tool for the control and management of snowmaking systems for many years. To ensure that the snowmaking system operates smoothly and as efficiently as possible, it is essential to have a stable and fast data transfer between the server and field components, such as snow guns and pits. That’s why we are proud to present the latest development from DEMACLENKO: DEMACLENKO Connect.
As an alternative to radio or cable connections, DEMACLENKO Connect enables communication between components and the control server via the existing mobile network. Where other systems reach their limits, strong mobile coverage in and around ski resorts ensures a reliable connection, even in remote and difficult terrain. Snow guns of the 4.0 generation from DEMACLENKO can be easily integrated, as they are already equipped with the necessary components. However, the integration of a variety of older models or third-party snow guns is not a problem either. They simply need to be upgraded with the DEMACLENKO Connect Box. This provides ski resorts with entirely new opportunities to modernize outdated technologies easily and integrate existing systems efficiently into the Snowvisual control system.
HIGHLIGHTS DEMACLENKO CONNECT
+ Transmission of machine data via the established mobile network
+ Fast, stable and interruption-resistant data transfer
+ Even older models and third-party snow guns can be integrated and easily updated to the latest technology
+ Boosting the overall efficiency of the snowmaking system through seamless, parallel communication between components
OLOID - Innovative RESERVOIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM
Thanks to a new collaboration with OLOID Engineering GmbH, DEMACLENKO is introducing an entirely new, efficient, and energy-saving solution for circulating and aerating reservoirs for technical snowmaking. A floating body, known as the OLOID, circulates on the water surface and solves several problems at once: for example, it keeps the surface free of ice, prevents algae growth, and, thanks to its simple application, reduces energy and maintenance costs.
HIGHLIGHTS OLOID
+ Reliable ice prevention – No solid ice layer, even at double-digit minus temperatures
+ Efficient water homogenization – Even mixing of all water layers
+ Targeted water temperature control – Effective lowering of the temperature
+ Optimized cooling tower runtimes – Significantly reduced operating times and lower energy costs
+ Reduction in the runtimes of pressure aeration, even complete replacement (for existing systems)
+ Alternative to reducing investment costs for pressure aeration (for new builds) by saving on pressure pipes and compressors
+ Effective algae prevention – Improved water quality
+ Reduced cleaning effort – Less maintenance and care required
+ Easy installation – Fast and straightforward commissioning
GHOST: THE INVISIBLE SNOW GUN
Launched in 2023, the GHOST introduced an entirely new concept: a snow gun mounted on a hydraulic lift, fully retractable into a pit through a hatch. When not in use or during summer, the machine can be completely stored underground. This setup ensures optimal integration into the environment, with no visible components above ground. Special highlight of 2024: A Ghost has been installed in the Blauherd area in Zermatt, Switzerland.
HIGHLIGHTS GHOST
+ Unique on the market: Snow gun can be completely retracted in the concrete pit
+ Hydraulic forklift with easy handling
+ Snow gun at a height of over 2 meters for optimal snowmaking
+ Snow gun can be parked in the pit when not in use or in summer
+ Easy assembly and maintenance
+ Engineered to withstand a snow groomer passing over it
ALL-WEATHER SNOWMAKING: DEMACLENKO’S SUCCESS STORY CONTINUES
2024 also saw significant progress in the increasingly important field of all-weather snowmaking. Thanks to strategic partnerships, DEMACLENKO offers a diverse range of technologies (SNOW4EVER and SNOWPRO), making it the most comprehensive portfolio of temperature- independent snow production solutions on the market. The various technologies primarily differ in the type of snow they produce, allowing for optimal adaptation to different customer needs and local conditions.
SNOWPRO
Since 2022, DEMACLENKO has been the official distribution partner of KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH, headquartered in Balzheim (Germany) with branches worldwide. The company is recognized as the global market leader in its industry and is the inventor of the first containerized, turnkey refrigeration system. KTI has adapted this expertise to all-weather snowmaking and developed the SNOWPRO systems. As part of the strategic partnership, DEMACLENKO is not only focused on the sale of the systems but also on building an international after-sales support network.
The already established SNOWPRO technology saw continued success last year, with numerous systems sold worldwide to countries like Japan, the Czech Republic, Poland and Saudi Arabia. The technology also played a key role in the efficient snowmaking at the Big Air event in Chur (CH). 2025 will also see the first SNOWPRO system delivered to Australia.
SNOW4EVER
2024 was also a highly successful year for SNOW4EVER, leaving its mark at the IBU World Cup in Hochfilzen (AT). The prototype had already sparked great interest when it was officially introduced to the market in 2021, thanks to its unparalleled snow quality. The immense potential that was evident from the start was fully demonstrated during its debut performance in Hochfilzen.
Franz Berger, Chairman of the OC Biathlon Hochfilzen: „SNOW4EVER saved the World Cup. What mattered most was that we were producing ‘real’ snow, not ice flakes or shards. The system sparked a lot of interest, especially from other biathlon centers. The quality of the snow really impressed everyone.“
The development of SNOW4EVER was a collaboration between DEMACLENKO and 3CON, an international technology leader in the manufacturing of high-end production systems for the automotive, pharmaceutical and medical industries.
