Titan 2.0

Improvements in environment and energy.
The Titan 2.0, based on the famous Titan, embodies numerous improvements in terms of energy and environmental impact. A machine was developed with the same fundamental design, but with state-of-the-art technical solutions, enabling it to establish itself as a premium-class product.

The nozzle ring has been comprehensively redesigned from the perspective of improved fluid properties and thermodynamics. Using technical concepts already known by our department, coupled with our experience, the output and nucleation performance of the nozzles was significantly increased even when conditions remained the same.

In response to more exacting demands from local authorities and nearby inhabitants to reduce noise levels in residential areas, and to protect the fauna in ski resorts, a new impeller with an astonishing noise/performance ratio was developed in collaboration with world-renowned research institutes.

Not everyone knows that the most important and also most difficult step is the incorporation of major changes, mostly with the aid of numerous experiments, often conducted under extreme conditions. Thanks to the passion and commitment of our department, we succeeded in bringing these two factors into perfect harmony, and can therefore count this project as a great success.

The Titan 2.0 is currently being used to prepare the World Cup Piste in Gröden for the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup 2014/15, where it enjoys praise from all sides.
