People Around

Interview with research expert Emanuele Bazzechi

1.Why did you choose to live in Alto Adige?

I made the choice for a variety of reasons, both related to the work I'm doing, which is fascinating and relevant to my studies, and to the location, which gives me a large variety of options in my spare time.

2.How do you feel in your new location?

Very satisfied, on both a personal and professional level. I hope to continue this journey that I began over three years ago now, when I worked on my Master's thesis in collaboration with the company where I am currently employed.

3.Are there many differences from Tuscany? How has your life changed?

There are certainly major differences, and as time goes by I notice them more and more. The landscape, traditions and customs are radically different, but over this period I have met many people who have supported me and convinced me that I made the right choice. It goes without saying that I miss my homeland, but I think that is only natural having lived most of my life there.
