Official handover of the 1.000th snow gun 2016 to the Schultz-Group

The Heinz Schultz Group is the largest in the skiing and winter sports sector in Austria.

The Group has made significant investments in the sector in recent years, particularly in the Tyrol and Styria, and some time ago chose Demaclenko as its partner in its snowmaking activities, purchasing 330 Demaclenko snow guns in the last two years and planning other projects with the South Tyrolean company over the coming period.

On Tuesday 12 October, at the Spieljoch valley station, there was an official handover of the 1000th Demaclenko snow gun, produced this season - a Titan 2.0 automatic mobile unit - complete with celebratory branding marking the achievement of that milestone.

The handover was an opportunity for the Demaclenko CEO, Andreas Dorfmann, and the Tyrolean entrepreneur Heinz Schultz to exchange tributes and confirm their desire to continue working together.

For Demaclenko, the season is proving challenging but full of confirmed orders. In production terms, the company is planning to complete approximately 2,000 snow guns, primarily at its site in Telfs, where it has a production facility alongside Leitner Ropeways and Prinoth. Major customers continue being added to Demaclenko's portfolio, thanks to the considerate work undertaken by the company on a number of corporate fronts in just 4 years.
