Snowmaking system completed in Gudauri

Opening ceremony on 21.12.2014

After a construction period of nearly 4 months, last Sunday, 21.12.2014, the new system from Demaclenko was finally completed and officially opened in Georgia.
The order to create a new snowmaking system for the Gudauri ski resort near the Russian border also involved the building of a new pumping station and cooling system, plus the installation of 29 lances or 29 GFRP pits. In the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for the Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the Director of the “Gudauri Development Agency”, Andreas Dorfmann, Managing Director and CEO of Demaclenko officially opened the snowmaking system and also used the occasion to present those responsible with the beloved miniature version of our wooden snow cannon.

For us, the project in Georgia was extremely important and prestigious, and is an international showcase project for our company. During the opening ceremony of the ski resort, the decision-makers in charge of the project once again emphasised the fantastic collaboration with our team at the site, and expressed their delight with the quality of our products. With the completion of one of two projects in Georgia, we at Demaclenko have undoubtedly taken another huge stride in the international market, and are convinced that we can expand this partnership in the years to come.

We wish our customers every success with their system. We thank you for the trust you have placed in us.
