On the trails of the Mont Blanc - Demaclenko conquers Chamonix

After Demaclenko France's first year in business in Montmelian, our list of clients already boasts many important names of renowned ski resorts.

The French market has warmly welcomed Demaclenko's arrival and is increasingly placing its trust in the leading edge technology of our products. Therefore, very soon Demaclenko will also be embarking upon the work involved in the project in Flégère, one of the two best known ski resorts in the Chamonix winter sports region.

"La Flégère" ski resort in Chamonix, close to the Mont-Blanc massif, will be equipped with a Demaclenko snowmaking system in the coming season.

Eight Eos 8 lances will be installed over an 850 meter section of the green "la trappe" slope, just under "l’Aquille de la Glière", whereas the lower section is ideally suited for using Titan 2.0 tower-mounted snow guns because of its natural surroundings and its width. Not far from the afore-mentioned piste is the blue "Evettes" section of slope, where the older snow guns are set to be replaced with ten Eos models.

Following the purchase of the new snow guns, a new highpressure pump will also be installed in the main pump station, which will boost the flow rate considerably. The entire system, complete with the snow guns, pump and new compressor will be integrated into the Snowvisual control software, enabling the system to be operated automatically.

Demaclenko particularly impressed the decision-makers at the operating company, "Mont Blanc", with its client-led technical solution, the energy efficiency of the system, as well as with the innovative and powerful snow guns and is delighted to have forged another new partnership in France.
