Demaclenko reaches new heights
New challenges and reliable partnerships
In collaboration with the largest ski resorts in the Alpine region, we are already making preparations for a successful 2015/2016 season
We managed to get a feel for the Schnalstal glacier for the first time this year and put our quality to the test. Those responsible certainly appreciated the breath of fresh air we brought to the mountain and placed their trust in Demaclenko’s innovative products. The partnership gets underway this year with the use of a snowmaking system on the glacier’s training course, which can be perfectly prepared with the help of more than 30 snow guns. With this project, we are demonstrating that we are a front-runner in this field and are constantly striving to improve.
Also established customers are relying on Demaclenko once again this summer. A new pumping station is being built for the Garfrescha section in Silvretta Montafon and preparations for the coming winter are also getting underway in Kitzbühel, where the contract for the next season includes the supply of more than 60 fan guns and over 12 EOS lances, which are being used in the ski resort for the first time this year. In Obertauern, the directors of Bergbahnen Krings GmbH have undertaken to replace the entire pipeline construction and use new concrete pits. But Austria is not the only country that is extremely important in terms of our sales activities: many projects have also been expanded and modernized in Germany too, starting with Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which Demaclenko has already been working with for several years. As well several new concrete pits, more than 10 new Titan and Evo snow guns are being delivered to the ski resort this year.
In terms of new customers, the project involving the National Training Center in Eisenerz certainly stands out. The project plan includes the construction of a pumping station and the corresponding cooling system. Through this project, which guarantees a supply of snow at the training center, Demaclenko is making a positive contribution to the future success of young athletes in Austria and providing optimal conditions on site.
The Shuttleberg in Flachauwinkl Kleinarl, the mecca for freestyle snowboarders, is another new project. This summer, Demaclenko is planning and project-managing a new pumping station for this customer, which consists of a total of three booster pumps and three main pumps. Some concrete pits, which are considered to be an ideal interface between the snow guns and the pumping station and thus supply the snow guns with the right amount of water, have already been delivered to the ski resort.
